Notes: I loved it when Turbo did it in the 90s, and FTTS’s attempt is very very good.

Lyrics

Huh,
Yeah
Yall know about this
Turbo Classic
uh huh
Put your hands together
for
F-L-Y

Translation

Huh,
Yeah
Yall know about this
Turbo Classic
uh huh
Put your hands together
for
F-L-Y

Can you see? Hiding behind me
Avoiding the wind, sleeping so soundly
The warm rays of the sun will wake you
Just wait a little bit longer
“I guess I will never see you again”
I really couldn’t say those words
But the tears falling down my cheeks
you could already see.

When the winter came, the two of us
I went by the sea that we always went to
with the cold wind and the white waves
Even though it was so long ago you were
next to me with your teeth chattering
you were so white and clean.
Now I can’t find you.

By the sea in winter with nobody around
We looked so sad
Both of us stood by the sea
and said “Let’s be friends” but
When you hid behind me to avoid the wind
I’m sure you heard my little prayer
That forever and ever
you would be next to me.
the gathering waves asked me
why am I was here all alone
where is she? they asked.

Can you see? Hiding behind me
Avoiding the wind, sleeping so soundly
The warm rays of the sun will wake you
Just wait a little bit longer
“I guess I will never see you again”
I really couldn’t say those words
But the tears falling down my cheeks
you could already see.

With the white tears of the sea
I make your image
Next to it I lie and try to call your name
In case I may be able to see you
I got worried that it might melt
But the cloud that blocked the sun
is not leaving.

Without you the sea will live in tears
The moving waves seem to resent me
“Don’t come here without her!”
“Bring her back!” they say
Even if you say I can’t see you again,
I already know
The white snow that sticks to my cheeks
are your moist kisses
and your tears.

“You wont be able to find her again”
I think the passing wind told me that.
I think it told me that no matter where
I will never be able to see her again
“where is she? Please tell me?”
said the pleading sea.
But just like me
it gave up and became tears

Even if you tell me I can’t see you again,
I already know
The white snow that sticks to my cheeks
are your moist kisses
and your tears.
